Basic Needs
Your dog's most basic needs are somewhere to sleep and something to eat. So there is a page devoted to each of those.
Dog Collars
Get your dog used to a collar from the first day you bring him home.
A collar should be light, not too wide, and adjusted so that your hand can fit between the collar and dog's neck.
For a growing puppy, check every two weeks that the collar is not too tight.
A soft fabric collar is best for young puppies.
Dog Leads
Allow a puppy a few days to get used to his collar before you introduce a lead.
